The Bellmawr Police Department has a Police Explorer Program, anyone between the ages of 14 years to 20 years old who is interested in joining the Explorer Program should contact Lt. Craig Wilhelm at the Police Department (931-2121 Ext 233). Informational packets can be obtained from your school or by stopping at the Police Station.
Explorers will be meeting to learn subject matter pertaining to law enforcement, and criminal justice. Explorers who complete a training course will be eligible to participate in Ride-A-Longs with Bellmawr Police Officers, and see first hand what being a police officer is all about. Explorers will be entrusted to help each other, help the community, and help the police department with tasks assigned to them. Our main quality which we as the post wish to exemplify is professionalism. As an explorer you will learn, lead, and respectfully represent the Bellmawr Police Department.
