SPECIAL OPERATIONS
The Bellmawr Police Department's patrol division, in conjunction with the Investigations Division, has recently instituted a new special assignment for aggressive pro-active policing targeting problematic areas in the Borough of Bellmawr. Patrol officers and detectives will be working undercover in target areas in town. The target areas include bars, clubs, and other areas that are deemed to pose a quality of life issue.
The deployment of the team is rather spontaneous and is usually made up of different police officers each time. The program so far has proven to be a huge success by improving the quality of life in Bellmawr.
If you plan on coming to Bellmawr to break the law, think twice. Because in addition to highly visible patrol vehicles, we also operate in the undercover pro-active capacity.
