FOR EMERGENCIES CALL

The Bellmawr Ambulance Squad is a life-saving organization created by Chief Edward Garrity of the Bellmawr Police Department in the early 1950's. The squad was originally a division overseen by the Police Department. The ambulance was housed in Bellmawr Fire & Rescue Hall on Lewis Avenue. Later the squad was made an independent organization. The ambulances were eventually housed behind Dealers Service Corp.(now United Rentals) in a garage, and currently we operate out of our station on Lowell Avenue, and have been since 1992. We run two ambulances, both Horton Fords. During the daytime hours a full-time crew of two EMTs is utilized, and volunteers respond in the evening, and early morning hours.
